Omni Entertainment/Caprice Records is a newly formed corporation that has roots back to the early 1960's. Caprice Records and Bromillo Record Co. a recording/publishing firm was formed in 1961 by Don Brooks the father of the current CEO, and before it's dormancy engaged in a joint venture with VanDan Records to form VanDan/Caprice Records and National Distributors with several artists recording and going #1 on the charts.
Omni Entertainment Group was founded by Rod Phelps a prominent Entertainment Attorney in Nashville. Rod is quoted in the book "Chicken soup for the Country soul" as giving Garth Brooks the boost he needed to get him to Nashville and become the star he is today. Omni also has taken such talent as Hank Williams Jr. to Gold status with his album "Maverick". As a primarily country entertainment company Rod felt like there was more to Dallas than was being explored and came across our CEO "Don Brooks" who convince Rod to engage in the local talent and merge with Caprice Records to form what is now Omni Entertainment/Caprice Records. |
